Welcome to my blog! My name is Jess. I am a 27 year old mummy of one and lover of anything and everything health and fitness related. I live in the UK on the South Coast with my fiancé and our son, and I am currently a stay at home mummy and (amateur) blogger! After having my son in December 2016 I was left feeling less than happy with my post baby body. I had continued exercising and eating (fairly) healthily throughout my pregnancy but I had naturally gained weight and had what is commonly referred to as a ‘mummy tummy’. This left me feeling unattractive, less confident and my self esteem definitely took a hit.
After doing a lot of research and following some incredibly inspirational ‘fit mums’ on social media I decided there was no reason why my post baby body couldn’t be better than my pre-baby body, it was just going to take some time, patience and lots of hard work. So that’s when I decided to embark upon the post partum fitness journey that I am currently still on at the moment. The purpose of this blog is to document my journey and hopefully provide some useful information to other mums out there feeling the same way that I did. I personally feel that whether you are two months post baby or two years it’s never too late to start making healthy changes and transform the way you feel about your body.
I would like to point out that I am not a qualified personal trainer, post partum fitness expert or nutritionist (unfortunately). Any information or advice given in my blog has been gathered through my own research, experiences or trial and error.
